Terry Lee Stone is a design management consultant and writer/educator based in Los Angeles. She has worked with AdamsMorioka, Margo Chase, and The Designory (among others). Her clients have included Mercedes Benz, Adobe Systems, IBM, American Express, USC Law School, Sundance Film Festival, and most recently, BMW DesignWorksUSA. In addition to practicing professionally, Stone has taught the business of design at CalArts, Art Center College of Design, and Otis College of Art and Design. She is co-author of The Logo Design Workbook with Sean Adams and Noreen Morioka, and author of a second book in this Rockport series, The Color Design Workbook. For The DuPuis Group, she edited The Package Design Workbook. In addition to books, Stone writes for STEP magazine, including curating their annual Emerging Talent List. She was a regular contributor to Dynamic Graphics Magazine, and often writes for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). Stone has lead workshops, panel discussions and lectures for Dynamic Graphics Training, Credit Union National Association, AIGA, and The Art Directors Club in New York. She also blogs about design, pop culture and knitting at sknitter.
